As lockdowns relax anin phased manner, we want to ensure that you stay updated about travel guidelines as they change frequently with respect to the changing situation induced by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Here we summarise the current rules and regulations pertaining to domestic air travel and information about state wise quarantine protocols along with safety regulations as directed by the government of India for travellers.

No Quarantine

  • Gujarat: People who are symptomatic will not be quarantined, however they will be permitted to go with the advice that they will self monitor their health for 14 days.   • Telangana: Health Authorities will decide about the Quarantine requirements for all other symptomatic passengers
  • Andaman & Nicobar: Only for Air travelers, symptomatic passengers will be tested and required to go for Institutional Quarantine till the test results are available
  • Goa: Fliers without Covid-negative certificate issued within 48 hours will need to undergo test for Rs.2000 along with home isolation until results are back – if result is positive, Hospital Quarantine for 14 days. Mandatory Home Quarantine for those who can not afford test. Declaration form beforehand on arrival in Goa is mandatory
Home Quarantine – 14 Days
  • Rajasthan: Submit Self-Health Declaration and go through screening process

  • Jharkhand: 14 days home quarantine (Exception: If you exit the state within 72 hours and have return ticket)
  • Punjab: 14 days home quarantine (Exemption: No quarantine for business and corporate traveler) Mandatory registration is required on Cova app https://bit.ly/3h3jPmE
  • Kerala: 14 Days home quarantine (Exemption: No quarantine for business visitors exiting within 7 days) Mandatory registration is required on https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/home/addMedicalEmergencyPass
  • Maharashtra: 14 days home quarantine (Exemption: No quarantine for business visitors exiting within
  • 7 days or less with return ticket at Mumbai, Pune and Aurangabad or 3 days or less in Nagpur)
  • West Bengal: 14 days home quarantine. For symptomatic passengers, Health Authorities will decide Quarantine requirement on case basis. Travellers must fill up and submit the declaration form using SandhaneApp http://74.50.58.66/systems/Sandhane/1.2/Sandhane_Gen.apk
  • Uttar Pradesh: 14 days home quarantine (Exemption: business visitors exiting within 7 days and carrying return ticket) Registration mandatory on https://reg.upcovid.in
  • Haryana
  • Institutional Quarantine – 14 days
    • J & K: COVID-19 test is mandatory for all passengers, except for Defense Personnel. Institution Quarantine is mandatory for all passengers till test results are available 14 days. Home Quarantine is prescribed if test is negative. Exemption – No quarantine for business traveler exiting within 4 days. Tourists must have return ticket and mandate RTPCR Test will be done upon arrival.
    • Meghalaya: Quarantine exempted for Pregnant women, children below 10 years and elders above 60 yearsInstitutional quarantine for 48 hours. Register on state portal http://meghalayaonline.gov.in/covid/registerall.htm
    • Mizoram: 21 days Institutional quarantine. Those opting for home quarantine for 21 days must undergo mandatory COVID test. M-Pass is mandatory https://mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in/
    • Madhya Pradesh: If passenger is found symptomatic, COVID test to be performed & Institutional quarantine until the test results are back. No Institutional quarantine if test is Negative and 7 Days home quarantine. (Exception: No Quarantine for business and corporate travelers). All passenger are required update their health status on Indore 311 App https://www.smartcityindore.org/311-app/
    • Himachal Pradesh: 14 days Institutional quarantine (Exception: 14 days home quarantine if carrying Covid-19 ICMR negative certificate issued within 2 days)
    • Manipur: Institutional Quarantine for 14 days and further testing. If the test result is negative, passenger will need to undergo home quarantine for 14 days. Mandatory registration on https://quarmonmanipur.nic.in

     

    Home / Institution / Hotel Quarantine: 14 days
    • Nagaland: 14 days institutional quarantine + 14 days home quarantine. Quarantine exempted for Pregnant women, children below 10 years and elders above 60 years.
    • Chhattisgarh: COVID test shall be conducted for symptomatic travelers. Travellers to undergo Institutional Quarantine till the test results are available. 14 days of Home Quarantine for all asymptomatic travelers. E-Pass mandatory Registration: http://epass.cgcovid19.in/
    • Uttarakhand: COVID-19 test shall be conducted on random basis and accordingly 7 days Institutional quarantine and 14 days  home quarantine will be issued (Exemption: No quarantine for business and corporate traveler) Mandatory registration required on https://dsclservices.org.in/uttarakhand-migrant-registration.php
    • Assam: COVID swab test will be conducted upon arrival and accordingly 7 days institutional quarantine and 7 days home quarantine will be issued (Exemption: No Quarantine for same day return) Quarantine exempted for Pregnant women, children below 10 years and elders above 60 years.
    • Andhra Pradesh: 7 days institutional quarantine for travelers coming from Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan & Madhya Pradesh. Travellers from rest of the states will undergo 14 days home quarantine (Exception: Business visitors and those carrying negative certificate issued by ICMR) Mandatory to Enroll in Spandanaapp & obtain clearance before buying tickets https://www.spandana.ap.gov.in/
    • Additional guidelines
      • Delhi: 7 days home quarantine (Exemption: Business and corporate traveler carrying return ticket but at the discretion of the health authorities at airport)
      • Karnataka: COVID swab test for symptomatic passengers – if result is positive, passengers will be shifted to a dedicated COVID Hospital, and if the result is negative, passengers will be asked to undergo 14 days home quarantine. All asymptomatic passengers shall be sent for 14 days of home quarantine (Exception: Business visitors exiting in less than 7 days and carrying return ticket, fliers from Maharashtra carrying Covid-19 ICMR negative certificate issued before 2 days). Business travellers native to Karnataka & returning within 4 days will undergo no testing and no quarantine. Such passengers should report to Apthamitra Helpline (14410) regarding the status of their health during the next 14 days. It is mandatory to Obtain Seva-Sindhu portal pass.Quarantine exempted for Pregnant women, children below 10 years and elders above 60 years.       • Tamil Nadu: COVID test for passengers arriving into Chennai from Maharashtra, Gujarat & Delhi. Travellers arriving form other states will be at the discretion of the health authorities at airport and can be issued 14 days of Home or Institutional Quarantine (Exception: business traveler exiting within 48 hours and carrying return ticket). It is mandatory to register on TN-PASS https://tnepass.tnega.org
      • Odisha: 14 days Home Quarantine (Exception: If traveller is exiting within 72 hours and is carrying return ticket)
